DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is an Incoterms® rule under which the seller side takes care of every cost and risk until the goods are delivered at your address, including import customs clearance, duties and import taxes.
When you book DDP with JIEYI, we collect from your suppliers in China, ship the goods, clear them through customs in your country, pay the duties and taxes, and deliver to your warehouse, your customer or an Amazon fulfilment centre. You receive one quote up front and nothing more to pay when the goods arrive.

Simplified for shipments arranged by JIEYI from China. Under FOB the supplier usually handles pickup and export; the exact split is agreed in your purchase contract. See a worked cost example in our DDP vs DAP vs EXW guide.
Every DDP quote lists the inclusions and exclusions in writing, so you know the full landed cost before you book.
Send the product description, quantity and value per item, and photos or a link if possible. Duties are calculated from the product’s HS code and value, so accurate details avoid delays and extra charges at customs.
Import rules differ by country. Each guide explains the duties, taxes and documents for that destination.

EU customs guideDDP shipping from China to the USA means we handle the US import for you. We arrange the ISF filing for ocean cargo and the customs entry through our US partner, pay the duties, tariffs and fees on your behalf, and deliver to your warehouse, your customer or an Amazon fulfilment centre. You pay one agreed price and nothing more on arrival.
US duties on Chinese goods include extra tariffs on top of the normal duty rate, and they change often. We calculate them from each product’s HS code and value before you book, so the DDP quote already includes them. See our guide to US tariffs on Chinese goods in 2026.
To quote DDP from China to the USA, send the product description, the HS code if you have one, unit value, quantity, carton details and the delivery address. More on shipping from China to the USA.
For DDP shipping from China to Canada, we clear the goods with the CBSA, pay the duties and GST or HST, and deliver to your address or an Amazon.ca fulfilment centre. Goods from China have only a CA$20 duty- and tax-free threshold, so even small parcels are usually charged on arrival. With DDP these costs are in the quote, and your customer pays nothing at the door.
Canadian importers normally need a Business Number with an import account and CARM registration. If you do not have them yet, tell us and we explain the options before you book. More on shipping from China to Canada.
You send the details once; we handle every step to your door.

Five cubic metres of general goods by LCL. The freight uses typical November 2026 rates; duties depend on your product, so they are shown as the way they are worked out.
| Part of the price | To the USA | To the UK |
|---|---|---|
| Sea freight, LCL 5 CBM | about $600–750 | about $300–450 |
| Pickup and export customs in China | Quoted for your supplier address and the number of suppliers | |
| Import customs clearance | ISF filing and customs entry through our US partner | UK customs declaration; the importer needs a GB EORI number |
| Duties | Goods value × the duty rate for your HS code, plus the extra tariffs on Chinese goods | Customs value × the UK Global Tariff rate for your commodity code |
| Taxes and fees | Customs fees such as the MPF and HMF | 20% import VAT on the customs value plus duty |
| Delivery | To your door, warehouse or Amazon fulfilment centre | To your door, warehouse or Amazon fulfilment centre |
Your DDP quote gives one agreed price for all of this, with the exclusions listed. Under about 13 CBM, LCL is usually the cheaper option; between about 13 and 28 CBM we compare LCL with a 20ft container. Before you book, see the DDP checklist and US tariffs on Chinese goods.
Send the product and value per item. We will reply with a DDP price to your door.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is an Incoterms rule under which the seller side pays all transport costs, import customs clearance, duties and taxes, and delivers the goods to the buyer’s address. The buyer has nothing more to pay on arrival.
Both deliver to your address. Under DAP you, the buyer, clear the goods through import customs and pay duties and taxes. Under DDP these are included in the price, so the goods arrive cleared and ready to unload.
The quote looks higher because duties and taxes are included, but the total landed cost is often similar. DDP removes the risk of unexpected charges, customs delays and broker fees on arrival.
Yes. Amazon does not act as importer of record, so DDP is a common way to ship stock to fulfilment centres. We clear customs, pay duties and book the delivery appointment.
It depends on the country. For the UK and the EU an EORI number is usually needed for the import declaration, and VAT-registered businesses may want the import VAT in their own name to reclaim it. We confirm what is required for your destination.
Duties are based on each product’s HS code, its declared value and the destination’s current tariff rules, plus VAT or sales taxes where they apply. Accurate product descriptions and values are needed for a reliable price.
A DDP price has four parts: the freight from China, customs clearance, the duties and taxes for your products, and delivery to the final address. The freight is the same as for a normal shipment, while duties depend on each product’s HS code and value, so we send an itemised DDP quote for your goods within 2 hours of receiving the details.
Yes. The extra US tariffs on Chinese goods are included in the duty calculation for each product, so the DDP quote covers them. Because tariff rates change often, we confirm the current rates when we quote.
One price, delivered to your door with duties and taxes paid.
We reply by email, in English or Chinese.
