Sea, air and express freight from South China to all 50 states, with US customs, duties paid (DDP) and delivery to your warehouse or Amazon.
Freight shipping from China to the USA runs on one of the busiest trade lanes in the world, with weekly sailings from Yantian, Shekou and Nansha to every major US port. What makes US shipments different is the paperwork: the Importer Security Filing must be lodged before your container is loaded, most entries need a customs bond, and tariffs on Chinese goods have changed several times since 2025.
As your shipping agent from China to the USA, JIEYI collects from your suppliers, handles export in China, books the ocean or air leg, clears US customs and delivers to your door anywhere in America or to an Amazon fulfilment centre. Before you book, we check the current duty for your HS code, so the landed cost holds no surprises.

Most US importers move their main stock by sea and use air or express for launches, samples and gaps in inventory.

The right port depends on where your goods are going, not only on the sailing time.
The shortest crossing from China. Best for California, the western states and anything that must arrive fast. Cargo for Chicago, Dallas and the Midwest continues inland by rail.
All-water services take longer at sea but land your cargo close to customers and warehouses in the East and South, which can save a long rail or truck leg across the country.
Typical times from South China. Door to door adds pickup, customs and final delivery.

The US has some of the strictest import filing rules. These are the points we check before every booking.
Every ocean shipment to the US needs an Importer Security Filing at least 24 hours before the container is loaded in China. Late or missing filings can be fined, so we collect the data from your supplier early.
Formal entries, generally commercial shipments over US$2,500, need a customs bond. We do not issue customs bonds ourselves: the importer gets a single-entry or continuous bond through a US customs broker or surety company, and we tell you what your shipment needs before it sails.
On top of normal duty, many Chinese products carry additional tariffs that have changed several times since 2025. We check the current rate for your HS code before you book. See our 2026 US tariff guide, and DDP vs DAP vs EXW for who pays the duty.
The US de minimis exemption for low-value shipments is currently suspended, so small parcels from China also pay duty and need customs formalities.
Commercial invoice with accurate values, packing list and bill of lading or air waybill. Undervalued or vague invoices are the most common cause of US customs holds.
Choose DDP and we quote freight, US clearance, duties and tariffs and delivery in one figure.

| Product type | Agency or rule | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Food, supplements, cosmetics, food-contact items | FDA | Food shipments need prior notice; products and labels must meet FDA rules. |
| Electronics with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or radio | FCC | Radio devices need FCC authorisation before they are imported or sold. |
| Children’s products and toys | CPSC | A Children’s Product Certificate based on third-party lab testing is required. |
| Clothing and textiles | FTC labelling rules | Labels must show fibre content, country of origin and the company responsible. |
| Wooden crates and pallets | ISPM 15 | Wood packaging must be heat-treated and carry the ISPM 15 stamp. |

Amazon often splits one inbound shipment across several US fulfilment centres, sometimes on opposite sides of the country. We ship your stock from China by sea or air, clear US customs and deliver to each destination with a booked appointment.

8 CBM of general goods in 60 cartons, 1,200 kg in total. By air the chargeable weight is about 1,334 kg (8 CBM × 1,000,000 ÷ 6000), because volume weighs more than the goods.
| Option | Main freight (November 2026) | Door to door |
|---|---|---|
| Sea LCL | about $960–1,200 | 30–45 days |
| Air freight | about $9,071–11,339 | 5–10 days |
| Sea FCL, 20ft to West Coast | about $6,800–8,000 | 25–35 days |
Main freight only. Pickup, customs, duties and delivery are added in your quote. Under about 13 CBM, LCL is usually the cheaper option; between about 13 and 28 CBM we compare LCL with a 20ft container, which is faster and has lower destination charges.
Door to door, sea freight usually takes about 25–35 days to the West Coast and 35–45 days to the East Coast, air freight about 5–10 days and express 3–7 days. We confirm the schedule for your booking.
In November 2026, a 40ft container costs about $7,600–8,500 to the West Coast and $9,700–11,000 to the East Coast, LCL about $120–150 per cubic metre, air freight about $6.8–8.5 per kg and express about $12–16 per kg. Customs, duties and delivery are extra unless you ship DDP.
Sea freight. Use LCL for about 2–15 cubic metres; above that, compare LCL with a full container, usually to a West Coast port. For small parcels under about 20 kg, express is often cheapest.
Ship to the West Coast if your goods are going to the western states or need to arrive fast. If your warehouse or customers are in the East or South, an all-water service to New York, Savannah or Houston is slower at sea but often cheaper overall because it avoids a long inland leg.
Commercial shipments are filed by a licensed US customs broker. Under our DDP service we arrange the broker and the ISF filing. Who acts as the importer, and whose customs bond is used, is confirmed for each shipment.
Your product pays its normal duty rate plus any additional tariffs that apply to Chinese goods. These have changed several times since 2025, so send us the product and HS code and we check the current total before you book.
No. The US de minimis exemption is currently suspended, so low-value parcels from China pay duty and need customs formalities. We can include these costs in a DDP quote.
Yes, Amazon may assign your shipment to several fulfilment centres. We plan the delivery to each one and book the appointments.
