Pre-shipment inspection
When production is finished and most of the goods are packed, a partner inspector draws a random sample using AQL sampling and checks it against your specification.
Inspection at your supplier before you pay the balance: a full AQL inspection through our partner inspection companies, or a simple check by our own team, with photos in English.
Problems found after the goods arrive are expensive: wrong colours, missing parts, weak cartons or labels that Amazon will refuse. A product inspection in China, before you pay the balance, lets the supplier fix them while the goods are still at the factory.
JIEYI arranges the inspection for you. For a full quality inspection with AQL sampling and function tests, we book one of our partner inspection companies and follow the job from booking to report. For simple products, our own team checks the goods by hand at the supplier or at our warehouse: quantities, appearance, cartons, labels and photos. Either way, we also follow up ready dates and documents, so the goods are ready when the freight is booked.

A partner inspector, or our own team for a simple check, checks the goods at the factory or our warehouse.
You get the photo report and decide with your supplier to ship, rework or re-inspect.
A pre-shipment inspection is a quality check done when production is finished and most of the goods are packed. An inspector takes a random sample, checks it against your specification and reports the results before the goods leave the factory and before you pay the balance.
AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) is a standard way to decide how many units to check and how many defects are acceptable for an order of a given size. We agree the AQL level with you before the inspection.
A full inspection report includes photos of the goods and packaging, the quantity checked, the defects found and how serious they are, and a pass or fail result against your checklist, in English. A simple check by our team comes with photos and the results for quantity, appearance, cartons and labels.
For full AQL inspections we use partner inspection companies, who send a professional inspector. For simple products, our own team checks the goods by hand. Either way we work for you, not for the factory, and you can combine the inspection with pickup, consolidation and shipping from the same team.
A simple check is usually enough for simple goods and repeat orders, where you mainly need the right quantity, clean cartons and correct labels. For a new supplier, products with functions such as electronics, or a large order, a full AQL inspection is safer.
It depends on the product, the order size, the AQL level and where the factory is. Send your order details and we confirm the price in writing before the visit.
We send you the report before the goods ship. You decide with your supplier whether to rework, replace or ship as is, and we can arrange a re-inspection.
